David Dubovich, BS, CDMS

David Dubovich is a Disability Case Manager for the return to work program at Allina Hospital & Clinics in Minneapolis, Minnesota.   He has 30 years of experience in area of vocational counseling, job placement and case management. At Allina he was instrumental in initiating the internal placement program for injured employees that now has grown throughout the organization and now serves employees who are on short term and long term disability. Allina was a recipient of the quality leadership award given by the certified disability management specialist commission in 2003 for its creativity and progressive thinking in area of disability management. The organization was also a a recipient of the  outstanding rehabilitation award from the  International Association of Rehabilitation Providers  in 2005 in recognition as an employer with outstanding approaches for working with and helping employees with disabilities return to work. Prior to Allina, David worked as a job placement specialist and qualified rehabilitation consultant in private sector.  He was a Case Manager on a social security contract in the 1990s initiative to explore vocational options for individuals that were on SSDI and SSI. He was a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation providers and serves on the board of the Minnesota chapter of the Disability management employer coalition
