Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education Units (CEU)

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The University of Iowa Carver College Medicine and The University of Iowa College of Public Health. Additionally, this activity has been designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing continuing education requirements for contact hours. Contact hours awarded by the Midwest Center are designed to meet ABOHN requirements for certification. *  Attendees seeking AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will self-claim their credits and print their certificates at the conclusion of the conference via the UI College of Medicine’s CME Portal. Instructions will be provided at check-in.

* This activity has been approved for 10 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). *   Each session at the Impairment Without Disability Conference has been approved for one (1) regular hours of CE credits by the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners. The total number of hours available for the conference is 10 regular CE hours. To obtain your Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiner’s CE hours, please visit Physicians’ Diagnostics & Rehabilitation’s (PDR Clinics) exhibit booth at the beginning and end of each conference day to sign the attendance roster. At the end of the conference, PDR will provide a CE Certificate with your total number of CE hours obtained.

* Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy has approved a total of 10 (Category 1) continuing education credits for the Impairment Without Disability sessions.  Persons who participate in sessions may be required to submit documentation that they have compoleted the course listed.  A certificate of completion would provide evidence of the course completion and will be provided at the end of the conference with the course approval number.
